Hello from the Road!

Hello readers this is my first newsletter. My goal is to share updates from our life on the road along with visual storytelling of my photography. I plan on posting by weekly as we travel south.

Moving is hard. Moving into 60 sq ft is really hard.

10 days ago we moved out of our modular home in Golden, CO. My spouse Ashley and our two dogs Orca + Draco moved from our home the last 6 years into our camper van named Patty. We were able to store some of our belongings with family in storage but we got rid of A LOT. It was a bittersweet move but one we were ready to make. We sold the trailer to a good friend and feel good about helping them have affordable housing.

Moab

Our first stop was Moab and we were welcomed with warmer days and plenty of mountain biking trails. Since we over packed it took a couple days to re-organize our life into our new tight quarters. We have been on month long trips in the van before but this time it felt different. Deciding what camera gear to bring and leave felt like a monumental decision.

Sedona

We arrived in Sedona, AZ a few days ago to bike some more and enjoy the beautiful scenery. We spent Thanksgiving walking, reading, and eating a breakfast scramble complete with biscuits and hash browns. Our next stop is Phoenix where will see family and continue to escape the cold.
